Miami Beach has no major media outlets. All media are located in Miami, across Biscayne Bay. Two English language newspapers, The Miami Herald and South Florida Sun-Sentinel provide printed and online media coverage in Miami. The Miami Herald is the primary newspaper with more than a million readers. The Sun Sentinel is aimed primarily at Broward and Palm Beach Counties, which are part of the Greater Miami Metropolitan Statistical Area. The Spanish-language papers El Nuevo Herald and "Diario Las Americas," both provide printed and online news reports. In addition, there are some 15 local neighborhood newspapers that are part of the Community Newspapersmedia chain. Business and industry is covered by The South Florida Business Journal.There is also a weekly, Miami New Times and an online newspaper, Miami News Daily. The flash and glam folk are covered by Ocean Drive Magazine and South Beach Magazine.

Miami is the 17th largest television market in the U.S. with 10 stations.

Some 41 AM and FM radio stations broadcast in the Greater Miami area, the 12th largest U.S. radio market.
